TO BOOK YOUR GRAND CANYON RAFTING TRIP

To book your Grand Canyon Whitewater rafting adventure, call us to check availability. $400 deposit per person is required at time of booking. Balance is due 90 days prior to trip departure. We accept checks, Visa, Mastercard or Discover.

RETURNING GUEST DISCOUNT: If you’ve rafted with Grand Canyon Whitewater previously, you are eligible for a 5% Returning Guest Discount. Returning Guest Discount is only for the person who rafted with GCW previously, not the entire group. It is for regularly priced trips only, not for Hiker’s Special Trips and cannot be combined with other discounted offers or trip offerings. Please don’t forget to mention your previous rafting trip when you book to receive the discount.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR GRAND CANYON RAFTING TRIPS

2014

Your deposit is refundable less a $100 service charge per person, if written notification is received by Grand Canyon Whitewater 90 days before departure.
89 days to 30 days prior to departure will forfeit the deposit.
Within 29 days of departure will forfeit full fare.

2015

Your deposit is refundable less a $100 service charge per person, if written notification is received by Grand Canyon Whitewater 90 days before departure.
89 days to 31 days prior to departure will forfeit the deposit.
Within 30 days of departure will forfeit full fare.

National Park Entrance Fee

All passengers 16 and older are required to pay a $12 National Park Entrance Fee.

Grand Canyon Conservation Fund

An optional $1 per day will be added to all fares and distributed, through the Grand Canyon River Conservation Fund, to worthy conservation groups such as Grand Canyon Youth, Grand Canyon Trust and others. This is used for research and protection of the Grand Canyon, and to provide access to the river for persons with disabilities.

One Trip Per Season

Due to limited availability, the National Park Service has limited use in the popular Lees Ferry to Diamond Creek section of the Colorado River to one recreational river trip per individual each calendar year. Because of this regulation, Grand Canyon Whitewater cannot accept a reservation from any individual who has or will participate in any other full or partial canyon commercial or non-commercial river trip within the same calendar year. If you have already completed or have plans to participate in any other Grand Canyon river trip this year and would like to go again, please respect your fellow boaters by waiting until next year or sometime thereafter to book your next trip. Grand Canyon National Park’s one-trip-per-season rule is strictly enforced.

The two trips GCW launches in April are deemed “Hiker’s Special” rafting trips. That means they are our normal trips but with additional […]

What’s Your “Must-Have” on a Grand Canyon River Trip?

We’ve all got it: that one thing we just cannot live without on a river trip. It might not be on the packing list but, by golly, we’re bringing it. For me, it’s leave-in hair conditioner and a pair of nail clippers. For Evan, it’s a journal or a good book. I’ve never seen Lindsay […]

We Need Your Help! What Would You Like To See Before Your Trip?

I took my first river trip in the Canyon in 2012. With some very basic camera equipment in hand, I was charged by Grand Canyon Whitewater (GCW) to capture footage and create a promotional video that could be used on their website. The outcome was the video below. Two years later, I found my way […]

Rafting the Colorado River in its Natural State

Many of our guests want to know when the “best” time is to raft Grand Canyon. Our answer is always the same: It depends on what you’re looking for. Do you want to go on a family trip that likely will have other children and teens on it? Do you want to go when the […]

The GTS includes both a 2-day land session (which is open to the public and to office-type folks like Evan and me) and a river […]
