About Grand Canyon Whitewater

The team behind Grand Canyon Whitewater has been part of the Grand Canyon rafting community since the 1970s. Through countless hours spent guiding and rafting the Colorado River, this team has grown to be an innovative, dynamic and well-respected Grand Canyon rafting outfitter.

A chance meeting in Europe and a love of the Grand Canyon brought Bill G and Bruce together in the 1970s to work as guides on the mighty Colorado River through Grand Canyon.  Later, these two river rats had the opportunity to buy an established rafting company. With one rafting company operating smoothly, Bill and Bruce expanded their presence in Grand Canyon and teamed up with Scott Seyler, to become the owners of Grand Canyon Whitewater.

Grand Canyon Whitewater’s Mission to “provide countless others with the opportunity to experience the awesome nature of the spectacular Grand Canyon by rafting the Colorado River” is demonstrated by all Grand Canyon Whitewater guides and staff. Behind the scenes, Bill S and Ashley, manage operations to ensure that each river trip is well-equipped for an incredible journey through Grand Canyon while the reservations team tends to passengers and transportation details.

Colorado River rafting through the Grand Canyon gives both guides and customers a chance to experience the true spirit of the Canyon, gain a new perspective on life, and connect with many other like-minded people who appreciate this unique outdoor environment. Spending time in the Canyon gives individuals the chance to be kids again, to laugh and appreciate the small things in life, in a very Grand place.

We would love the opportunity to introduce you to the Grand Canyon’s hidden beauty, accessible only by rafting the Colorado River. Call us at 800.343.3121 to book your trip-of-a-lifetime.

We’ve all got it: that one thing we just cannot live without on a river trip. It might not be on the packing list but, by golly, we’re bringing it. For me, it’s leave-in hair conditioner and a pair of nail clippers. For Evan, it’s a journal or a good book. I’ve never seen Lindsay […]

We Need Your Help! What Would You Like To See Before Your Trip?

I took my first river trip in the Canyon in 2012. With some very basic camera equipment in hand, I was charged by Grand Canyon Whitewater (GCW) to capture footage and create a promotional video that could be used on their website. The outcome was the video below. Two years later, I found my way […]
